YOU DON’T WANNA KNOW!!!

Women love getting compliments. Men, especially the unromantic ones run out of things to say, very soon! With some help, you can say beautiful things to the object of your affections; make them feel special and wonderful about themselves and the relationship. The words you choose will set the tone of your relationship, making it blissful and romantic.
Some of the sweet things you can tell your sweetheart are as follows:

  56. I cannot express my love for your love completely.
  57. ‘I love you’ is not enough to describe my feelings for you.
  58. You make me feel like the luckiest guy in the world
  59.  I enjoy every moment with you.
  60. You make every other girl pale in comparison.

Does he love me? - Signs that he loves you

"Love is a many splendored thing," is a wonderful old song. We all have a basic need to be loved. When we are children we are content with maternal love and familial bonds. As we mature and we form romantic relationships, initially we may want to keep things light and uncomplicated. But as relationships deepen most individuals feel an innate need to love and be loved in return.
In the early days of romance you may often wonder how serious your man is about you? But even those in serious relationships, whether living together or married, are not exempt from these doubts. Just because he's told you at some point that he loves you or cares for you is no guarantee that his feelings won't change. We need constant reassurance that the loving feeling is still there.
Apart from whimsically plucking a daisy's petals and wondering 'He loves me, he loves me not', how can you gauge his feelings? One can't generalize, but men on the whole find it difficult to express their feelings. It's often left to a woman to try and fathom his deeper feelings. What are some of the signs which you as a woman can watch out for as an indication of whether your man loves you?
1. He tells you
If he says those three words and says them often, count yourself lucky. A lot of men assume that their women know they're loved and don't really tell them often enough. If he realizes your need to hear him say he loves you, and he means every word of it, he's truly one of a kind. A man may not say the actual words but imply as much when he tells you how fortunate he feels to have you in his life.
2. He shows you
Some men aren't exactly good with words and expressing their feelings. But they choose their own avenues of expression. This kind of guy does things, little or big to show you how much you mean to him. That may include ordering take-away when he thinks you need a break from cooking or taking the kids off your hands so that you can have some time to yourself. Yes, you may need to hear the words from him, but have you never heard that 'actions speak louder than words?'
3. He makes you feel special
And then there's the man who's always trying to keep the romance alive. He brings you flowers or wakes up extra early to bring you breakfast in bed. He's always going out of his way to make you feel exceptional.
4. He's happy around you
He sometimes foregoes time with his guy friends just to be with you. It may be because you've been feeling particularly low or you haven't spent enough time together lately or just because he feels good to be with you. If he can't get enough of you it's a sure sign that he's got it bad.
5. He listens to you
We're not talking 'You command, he obeys'. But when you're talking, he's genuinely interested in what you're saying and gives you his undivided attention. He looks at you (not at the television blaring in the background or the newspaper in his hand), responds appropriately and gives you the idea that he's really concerned about your concerns.
6. He compliments you
He notices when you make an effort with your appearance and appreciates it. He tells you which things suit you and add to your look. It always feels great to dress up but when he looks up admiringly and tells you so, you know you matter.
7. He takes care of you
If he babies you when you're sick and nurses you back to health, you can be pretty sure you've got a good thing going. If your comfort level is so high that you can look most miserable and still be secure enough in his love, you've got it made. Marriage vows don't include the "In good times and bad, in sickness and health" clause for nothing. Rose, a high-flying career woman, recalls the time she was suffering from a stomach infection and feeling wretched. "I was running a high fever and feeling like my stomach was turned inside out. The only thing that made me feel like I should hasten my recovery was Marvin, my boyfriend. He was like a guardian angel. He soothed my fevered brow and held the bowl while I puked my guts out. If ever I had any doubt about his undying devotion for me, it was quelled at that instant."
8. His friends and family respect you
Sometimes you can gauge how a man feels about you from the way his circle of friends and close family behave around you. If they hold you in high regard, you can be sure he's been telling them just how happy he is to have you in his life.
9. He appreciates your worth
Sometimes men choose more indirect ways of expressing their true feelings. He may not actually tell you he loves you or even do anything special. But he may tell you how proud he is of your achievements or what a good mother you are or even how well you run the house. You may even find him praising you to the skies to family or acquaintances.
10. He asks for your opinion
When important decisions are at stake, either concerning him or both of you jointly or even the kids, he doesn't just go ahead and do what he thinks is right. He asks for your advice and not just for the sake of it. He often considers it and may even go by it. Or if he doesn't, he tells you why he didn't.
11. He takes your feelings into account
If something upsets you concerning his family or friends, he tries to see your side of it. He feels for you and even if he's seen you cry a thousand times before, he still tries to make you feel better and has that tissue box at hand.
12. He's interested in what you want too
Let's say you're both watching television and you want to watch Oprah, while he'd like to catch Arsenal v/s Chelsea. You know how men are where football is concerned! If he lets you watch your choice of program, not just grudgingly but because he loves to see you happy, you've got a winner. And if he actually sits through it just because he wants to be by your side, you know he's a goner!

Falling in love - Should you trust your intuition when in love?

It is believed that people in love listen to their hearts rather than their minds. ‘Love is a state of euphoria in which our senses become numb and it is just the beating of our hearts which is audible" , says lovelorn Anne, who is smitten by Scott, her boyfriend of one year. Incidentally Scott echoes Anne’s sentiments and adds, "When in love, logic or reasonable thinking takes a backseat; we either trust our intuition or listen to our heart.
Being in love does not necessarily mean a state of euphoria or happiness. There will be certain circumstances where conflicting ideas or emotions arise. Keeping the love of your life involves different stages like commitment, trust and fidelity. At each of these stages, there are thoughts and feelings telling you what to do and when to do it. You need to listen to your intuition so that you can make smart decisions. The following tips will help you to understand if your intuition can be trusted when in love.
People in love should remember that trusting your intuition does not imply that you either listen to your heart or mind.
Signal alert
Take notice of the signal from your head and heart. You will be able to interpret what your intuition is telling you. When there are conflicting messages: When in love, your mind often says one thing while your heart says another. Here there is a contrast between your thoughts and feelings. Learn to decipher, distinguish and arrive at a consensus after discussing with your partner.
Emotional overload
A surging rush of emotions when in love can create a conflict between your thoughts and feelings. Decision making becomes tough in such a situation. Try to seek some solitude, relax and reflect and you shall soon hear the answers. Once the answer comes, you should act quickly so that you do not have time to doubt your decision.
You should never feel trapped or unable to choose what is right for you. If at any time you do feel this way, then that is a good sign that something is not right with the relationship. You then need to examine what it is that is holding you back. If it turns out to be the other person, you are probably better off leaving the relationship.
Tricky situations

when in love, couples may have to face tricky situations where tough decisions have to be made. Blindly trusting your intuition while making an important decision is definitely not the right thing to do. Couples who have a strong relationship should discuss with each other and mutually agree on what to do next.

Trusting your intuition in love is acceptable in certain stages of a relationship when things are not complicated. But do not get blinded by love and act intuitively without considering the negative consequences. Work on waking up your awareness level of any given situation. Concentrate and listen to what your heart and mind have to say. Interpret the messages accurately and you will definitely transform your relationship into a successful one!

Intimacy of Relationship in Christ

Intimacy of Relationship in Christ

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. (Ephesians 2:13)

We have begun to see that the new covenant of grace is a covenant of relationship. The simple phrase "in Christ" indicates the extent of the intimacy that is available by grace. "In Christ" is where we live spiritually. It is also how we live. As sure as a fish is in the ocean and lives on the resources of the ocean, we are "in Christ" and live on the resources of Christ. As sure as a unborn child is in the mother and lives on the life of the mother, we are "in Christ" and live on the life of Christ.

We who believe in Jesus are not only "brought near by the blood of Christ. (Ephesians 2:13), we are joined to Him in a "united closeness," like a body is to its head. "He is the head of the body, the church" (Colossians 1:18). We can relate to the Lord Jesus more closely than the members of our physical body relate to our physical head. We can look to Jesus for direction and coordination. We can depend upon Him for planning, guiding, and timing in our entire lives. We can anticipate that He will monitor, maintain, and adjust our situations.

This union of intimacy is also like a vine and its branches. "I am the vine, you are the branches" (John 15:5). We can look to Christ for our very life source. We don't have to produce a life on our own. We can concentrate on abiding (depending) on Him. He makes our lives effective and fruitful.

The intimate relationship the Lord wants to develop with us is also likened to the joining of a husband and a wife. "You also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another, even to Him who was raised from the dead" (Romans 7:4). We can count upon Jesus to love us faithfully and sacrificially. We can rest in His constant companionship, never leaving us for any reason throughout our pilgrimage here on earth.

What blessings are ours for time and eternity "in Christ." Joined intimately to Christ, nothing can separate us from the love and kindness that He has for us: "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. . . that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:38-39 and Ephesians 2:7).
May God Bless You as you ponder on this message and practice it.

Why You are Sexually Disappointed in Life

Why You are Sexually Disappointed in Life

Sex life: The question is, are you doing it right? But let me elaborate that question further. “For many people, certainly, sex is the most powerful and moving experience that life has to offer, and more overwhelmingly holy than anything that happens in church. For great masses of people, sex is the one force which can actually tip men and women completely off their accustomed centers of gravity and lift them, however briefly, right out of themselves.” – Mike Mason in ‘The Mystery of Marriage’
Sex is something that people describe as ‘amazing’, ‘wonderful’, ‘out of this world’, and the list goes on. Why then, is that so many people, after having that ‘out of this world’ experience, find themselves empty, wanting and perhaps aching as a void subtly nudges somewhere in their soul?
Am I doing it wrong? This is the question that so often pops into mind after that aching, empty feeling. Perhaps you’ve had sex. Perhaps you’ve had one of the best ones in your life thus far. But somehow, someway, you feel that something in you is not right.
Let me tell you what you’re doing wrong. You meet someone. You fall in love. The passion and fire burns between your romance, and then, by some compelling, fleshly urge, you have sex. This is wrong. So let me tell you how to do it right.
Sex is designed. It is not just some primitive instinct that all animals, insects and humans accumulate in themselves. It is something that is intricately designed – especially for us human beings – in order to arouse something unexplainable in us. It’s more than feelings (emotion), it’s more than physical consummation, it’s more than intellectual will and experience. It is a sort of spiritual oneness. And only through that Spiritual oneness will you be able to do it right. That spiritual oneness can only be complete inside the bonds of marriage.
This is what we have lost. “Don’t let your disappointing experiences cloud your understanding of this. We have grown cynical, as a society, about whether intimacy is really possible. To the degree that we have abandoned soul-oneness, we have sought out merely sex, physical sex, to ease the pain. But the full union is no longer there; the orgasm comes incomplete; its heart has been taken away. Many have been deeply hurt. Sometimes, we must learn from what we have not known, let it teach us what ought to be.” – John Eldredge in ‘The Journey of Desire’
This is why we are not doing it right. Unless we do things right with our sex life, we will never be satisfied. We will never be fulfilled. We will ache with a real ache – something unexplainable within our soul.
Only God can fill that void – and He says it should be done inside the bounds of marriage. That is the only way to have a sex life that will not disappoint.

Why so many rich, successful, famous people are not really fulfilled

Why so many rich, successful, famous people are not really fulfilled

when a man who is at the top, who’s had it all – riches, fame, power, success, fulfilment – say they aren’t really happy. Some of them commit suicide, some of them take drugs to forget their “emptiness”, some of them keep on hopping from relationship to relationship just to fill that “empty” feeling.
looking at the example of king Solomon. He had it all but still he says that it’s all chasing after the wind. He says that it is all “senseless” and “worthless” and “unfair”. Imagine that – what a paradox coming from the most powerful man during his time. Why? What is the source of this “emptiness” what is the origin of this “empty” feeling? Romans 3:23“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
We have “fallen short” of His glory because of our sins. Because of this, our fulfilment will always “fall short” of what we want it to be. The little empty feeling that we “feel” but we don’t understand so therefore we cannot fulfil, is an emptiness created by our “falling short” of His glory.
We somehow missed the mark and strayed away from what is right and that created a void in ourselves that we try to fill with so many things the world promises can fill it. Don’t you ever wonder why advertising is so powerful? Because it caters to THAT EXACT VOID THAT YOU FEEL IN YOURSELF!
It tells you that you will find fulfilment, complete happiness, that’s why you have to buy their product. For example I know of a beer company in my country that has big writings on billboards showing that consuming that beer makes you special while another broad says it will shine your future like gold. Certain things to some extent, has provided that sense of fulfilment and happiness, but it will soon run because these things are temporary and will pass away. The void in us is something that only God, our maker, designer and purpose-giver, who is eternal can fulfill. For years over the international News I have heard Dollar Millionaires, famous musicians in the US and other countries who have been found dead because they over consumed nicotine and other drugs while others commit suicide. Why? They have the money, many look to them for help but in them they fill void.
How can God fulfil that void?
Imagine a watch, having its own feeling and its own sense of reason and logic and free will. How will it give full glory to its maker? By letting the maker use it completely to its purpose through its own will. The watch can only find complete and true happiness when it is functioning exactly as it was designed to be otherwise, if it chooses to be a hammer then it will break itself, if it chooses to be a Frisbee then it will shatter at some point, if it chooses to be a paper-weight then it will render itself useless – MAKING ITSELF UNHAPPY, UNFULFILLED and making it’s maker DISAPPOINTED. FALLING SHORT OF THE MAKER’S GLORY.
Think about it.
Fulfilment can only come from being the best you can be, right? And what does the Bible say about our purpose? To give God glory. I pray that giving Him glory in everything you do will be your goal in each and every thing you do – big or small even if you think it doesn’t matter, it does. Believe me, “Getting there” Is all about giving God glory because He in return will be the one to glorify you as He pleases – and that is eternal.
Perhaps you have read this message but deep in your heart you know and know that you real know there’s that void you have tried to find fulfillment but you can’t. Why not turn to Jesus Christ who alone has the ultimate purpose for your life? Give Jesus Christ an opportunity to put things right in your life and the wrong choices you have made in life by following this simple prayer of commitment. Say dear Jesus. Forgive me of all my sins. I entrust you with my life. Be the Lord and savior of my life. Today I confess with my mouth and believe with my heart that I am born again. Amen.

Why people miss out on God-given opportunities

-->

Why people miss out on God-given opportunities

Napoleon once said that an opportunity will only dance with you when it finds you on the dancing floor. Many times I have met people who keep saying statements like: I wish I knew. Had I followed God’s voice I would be married. I would have my business, If God could reverse for me this or that and many others’ but why those questions? It’s because at one point God gave them an opportunity but they missed it. “What you don’t know can’t hurt you” – ever heard this saying before? You won’t know what you’ve missed unless someone who knows what could have been, tells you. Why do people miss God-given opportunities?
We don't know what our glass of blessings have missed because of our lack of faith and fear
Let’s take it from the Bible
2 Chronicles 15:17, it says that king “Asa’s heart remained completely faithful throughout his life.” Now that is a very rare and difficult compliment to achieve from the Bible – and Asa was one of those kings who have evidently achieved it.
But right on the next chapter we can see that Asa has made some wrong decisions late in his reign and lifetime. 2 Chronicles 7 says “Because you have put your trust in the king of Aram instead of in the Lord your God, you missed your chance to destroy the army of the king of Aram.”
The context behind this is that Asa was first challenged by a million-strong army of Ethiopians while his own Israelite army numbered only 580,000. He was clearly outnumbered by almost half. But he called on to God and God gave him victory. It was a great show of faith in God on king Asa’s part.
But after years of peace, he has forgotten how God has given him great victory and delivered him from the Ethiopians. Instead of turning to God in a up-coming feud against the Israelites, (Asa was king of Judah and he was at ‘civil’ war with then king of Israel) he turned to the king of Aram for help – bribing the king of Aram with gold and silver dedicated to the Lord from the temple.
The Lord did not let this slip away. Is it a small matter? Maybe… But not for God. Remember that without faith it is impossible to please God – and clearly, king Asa did not put his faith in God with this act of turning to the king of Aram for help.
So God gave Asa another chance to turn to Him – He struck Asa with a severe foot disease. What happened? Again, Asa did not turn to God – he had a rebellious and hardened heart. He turned to his physicians for help. But they could not heal him.
I want to emphasize on the point wherein Azariah told Asa that he missed his chance of defeating the armies of the king of Aram. Would Asa know what could have been? Perhaps not. He wasn’t a seer or a prophet. But he did miss something, right? Something great. And isn’t that what happens in our lives today?
We might not know it but we do miss great, God-given chances. We miss chances when we don’t tell our parents of our faith in God and how we want to praise Him because they might think we’re stupid with our faith. We miss chances when we don’t tell our brother or sister of our faith and passion for God because we’re afraid they might think it’s awkward. We miss our chances with friends because we’re afraid they’d think we’re crazy and a freak when we share our faith with them. And above all we miss out on God-given opportunities when we fail to trust God in any area of our lives and instead turn to man for help. Listen to me man can only help you with something that will last long only if he or she is under a divine instruction to help you. Many years ago, I had this lady friend of mine. We grew up together. We had dreams to accomplish before we could see off ourselves to our marriages. As we grew up her focus began to change to what I call quicker results. I tried to talk to her to keep focus on our dreams but she listened not. And now after many years she is suffering with Children who have turned out to be bustards why she wanted her own way not God’s way and now she is living a life of regrets. Hi my friend sticking to God requires a hard price to pay but it’s a sure target you won’t miss.
I keep wondering, had I gone to America six years back because I wanted to change my life, would I have been able to survive homos? Would I still be a born again? And would I still be alive? When I ask all these questions, I begin to thank God for his great love. In these years of patience and focus I have been able to study things I desired while I was still young and from Uganda and truly I believe it is a beginning of the journey that takes me to a place of fulfillment to my dreams.
In all this, we lack faith and trust in God that He will be the one to work in and through them. We don’t want to put our faces and our reputation on the line and we miss our chance. Don’t make the same mistake as king Asa did. I want my opportunities in life. I will grab them. I will trust God enough that I will put everything on the line just so that I will get it. I pray that you’ll also make it so with your choices.
Perhaps you have read this message but deep in your heart you have missed out on your God given opportunities; I want to encourage you today and now to take a path that will never let you down. And that is the path of salvation. Give Jesus Christ an opportunity to put things right in your life and the wrong choices you have made in life by following this simple prayer of commitment. Say dear Jesus. Forgive me of all my sins. I entrust you with my life again. Be the Lord and savior of my life. Today I confess with my mouth and believe with my heart that I am born again. Amen.

GET HOLD OF THIS SEASON

 GET HOLD OF THIS SEASON

Uganda as a nation is approaching her golden Jubilee a time when she will be celebrating 50 years of her independence whereas at Victory Church of Christ Ministries God has led us to seek Him through prayer and fasting for 90 days for a clear breakthrough and Dominion in the Land over the Kingdom of Darkness from 13th. 02.2012 to 12th May 2012.  And for the first time in the 10 years of her existence. What does this have in connection with us the youths? It’s a lot. To some youths 90 days of fasting and prayer may look like it is inconveniencing. But what is 90 days of fasting and prayer in exchange for divine intervention compared to hundreds of days full of suffering, pain and bondage because you neglected the discipline of fasting and had no understanding of the times and seasons of your life.
The bible in 1 Chronicle 12:32 says: “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.” KJV
The bible says that while the other tribes of Israel were the other tribes were in thousands, the Children of Issachar were only 200 but had understanding of the times. The 90 days prayer fast we have began for Dominion is to give us understanding as youths on how to exercise dominion over our circumstances. A person once said that ‘what ye knoweth, ye conquereth  but what ye knoweth not conquereth thee’
For you as a youth to make a difference in your School, family, work place, marriage, Church and nation, God wants you to utilize the given time frame to seek Him for dominion. Perhaps the reason why you haven’t seen much out of your labor in this city is because you haven’t given yourself to seeking God and utilizing your God given authority as a believing Youth. In Psalms 2:8 says: Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the ends of the earth as your possession (NLT).
I remember the last time I went for a season of prayer and fasting that never left my life and family the same was a 21 days fast  I did way back in 2004 after I realized I was in a wrong place. At that point, I thought my life had come to an end because of the witchcraft that my step mother (now the late) practiced against me and my siblings that brought our entire family to face grinding poverty and failure in whatever we did. This prayer worked for me and my family. At this time we needed understanding of what time we were in and what we ought to do and that was our time of freedom as we saw the person who hunted us leave and unfortunately die without Christ. To me it was like a dream seeing the tears I have cried come to an end.
As a youth perhaps you have suffered and faced struggles that have made your life miserable and uncertain. May be you feel like you are failing in your studies, Job, marriage etc. or you see no progress in whatever you do. The answer you have searched for all this time may be in these 90 days of prayer and fasting for Dominion. Take hold of your season by seeking Him through a prayer program.
Let us look at passages in the book of Daniel. Daniel also is a man who got hold of the season and changed his nation by reason of understanding.
“… I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes :”( Dan 9:2-3 KJV)
“In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.(Dan 10:2-3,12 KJV)
‘I Daniel understood’ and in verses 12 of Daniel chapter 10 we see the angel appearing to him saying: ‘for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand … thy words were heard’ (Dan 9:2 KJV). In other words, Daniel got hold of his season; he refused to continue in bondage. He wanted change for his entire nation.
As I speak now we are preparing for the golden Jubilee as a nation but looking around at what is happening in our nation, we need God’s intervention to deal with things like corruption which is in high gear at the cost of people’s lives, abominations, the threat of homosexuality, Promotion of Abortions aided by some perverted people from the western world and the promotion of early sex etc. These things are disgracing. And who are the main target? It is we the youths. That is why if we as youths are to stop this cycle of perversion in our country we ought to be youths who have understanding of times and who know what Uganda ought to be like. But this begins with us getting hold of this season by responding to His call for us to seek Him while he can still be found.
In conclusion, I have spoken to many youths who were affected in their academics, marriages, Jobs, ministry etc because of the injunctions that were placed against their lives making them unable to attain success and progress in all their endeavors but whose lives changed the moment they got involved in a prayer fast like the one we are undergoing now at Church for 90 days. Perhaps the only last blow you need to deliver against the devil to push him out of your way to enable you gain Dominion in the Land against the Kingdom of darkness is this 90 days prayer fast.
And now may God bless you as you journey through the 90 days prayer and fasting for a breakthrough and Dominion in the Land over the Kingdom of Darkness.

SECURE YOUR LIFE

SECURE YOUR LIFE

I would like to encourage my fellow youths and parents through this message to do the right thing to help keep our families secure.
Many families have fallen apart due to a number of things I am going to share with you. And this is my own true story. I come from a polygamous setting of six mothers. When I was four years old I saw my father and mother divorce in the open, leaving us with no option but to do what step mothers would tell us to do. At the  age of 13 years I felt like my life was going nowhere and for three times I attempted suicide. I had no future to look forward to. In the contest of witchcraft fights between our step mothers we were like goal keepers. Every witchcraft missile released always ended up hurting us.
At the age of 17 I gave my life to Christ. In spite of the fact that I was saved, I was not certain whether I and my family had a secure future. However before getting saved, I tried to look for meaning everywhere. I always wanted to grab every golden opportunity that would come my way but all was always a disappointment. I tried finding meaning in bars and hooking up with wrong groups of youths but still all these did not give me meaning for my life.  I wondered why I had no job inspite of the fact that I was always developmental oriented and had qualities that made some parents to wish I were their son. Why did I suffer all these tragedies? The answer is simple. The foundation on which my life and that of my family was standing was not a secure foundation. It was a foundation that does not support progress, success, employment and in brief it was a foundation full of disappointments and frustrations. And now this brings me to this question, what must you do as a youth, mother, father or guardian in a family to have your family secure?

1. Rebuild Your Family Foundation
When I got saved I began to look for a way out of this kind of bondage which was for me to understand. I began to fight for something better. I began to rebuild my foundation no longer basing on my past but on God’s word. I and my family members who knew the Lord began to involve ourselves in prayers and fasting, having family prayer altars and reading of scriptures to guide us. It was through prayer and fasting that I came to know of Victory Church of Christ ministries in Luzira. So hungry and eager to know the exit out of my struggles that I began to hearken to God’s word that was always preached. At first it seemed like I was getting nothing but I kept writing every important point preached and  to attend the deliverance sessions that were always carried out every Wednesday by Pr. George Oduch. This helped me to rebuild my foundation on the word of God. This is an encouragement to you the youth who feel like you want to quit, you feel hindered and over loaded with burdens you can’t carry. The answer to the end of your struggles lies in knowing God and what He promises in His word for you. You make that your foundation. That is what will give you security. Don’t tamper with witchcraft and polygamy. And if you have it in your roots pray and cut it off from your own life.

2. Have  a connection with a right Church
Over the years I have met youths who keep saying “this thing of Church all the time”. Yes it may look like your seniors  or those who cares about you are burdening you with going to Church always yet you need it. There are times when I sit down and I ask myself this question. Had I not found a good Church that carries out deliverance like Victory Church of Christ Ministries, where would I be now?
That’s why I want to tell you especially the youths, if there’s something you should do before you think of getting a job, married, promoted, starting up a business, having success in school then it is seeking for your deliverance first. As I have told you earlier I could not get a job despite the fact that I was a bright young man, I could not continue with my studies until I got a connection with the right Church that helped me get delivered from all kinds of opposing forces from my family background. I remember when I was going to sit my S.4 exams my own father an Engineer refused to pay my fees because my step mother told him not to. At that point I felt like my life was shuttered.  It was like the future I had dreamt of was no more and worst of all my other siblings were looking at me for an answer. When that happened they also felt like there was no head way for them. However, because of my association with VCCM, I was taken back to school and later to do Media related courses that have empowered my life positively and also given me a living that in return has also helped me to support my family and others.
3. Have discipline and be focused
Lack of focus is probably one of the reasons that has brought many families sorrow.  When you hire security in your home, it is because you are looking for some sort of safety and for that safety to be realized, the security guard ought to focus on the job. This too applies to us as a family. For us to keep our families secure we ought to focus on what will safe guard our families and that is the word of God. When your children know the word of God and apply it in their day to day life, it will be so hard for promoters of evil like homosexuals, lesbians, sorcerers, ocultic practitioners, sexual molesters, drug users etc. to gain control over them.
Way back through facebook, I got to know some lady from Columbus in the Sates who had arranged my air ticket to travel and work abroad. Seeing the opportunity of becoming wealthy in a short time I okayed the idea. I went through the processes required but because I had knowledge of God’s word I inquired of the Lord and interestingly God gave me wisdom to check out for the organization details on the net only to realize this was a shadow organization whose job is to recruit young energetic African youths into homosexuality. This gives me reason enough to tell you the youth who is in high gear to go to the US and many other European countries to hold on a little. What you are looking for is not there but it is right here in your country all you need to do is discover it, go for it and work for it. While to my dear parents I urge you to teach the children the laws of the Lord that when they are of age they won’t live to make you regret why you produced them. Deuteronomy 11:19 (Amplified) says “And you shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you rise up.”
However on the side of discipline, I want to encourage my fellow youths both in the Church family and biological family to take note of this point. We the youths are tomorrow’s leaders and one of the key factors that will help us prepare to lead is discipline in all areas of our lives. Let us give our parents a reason to know that while they are gone the future will still be secure. Let us be men and women that our Nation will look to for solutions. And above all let us make our parents’ proud of us not bitter about us. Ephesians 6:2 says “Honor (esteem and value as precious) your father and your mother—this is the first commandment with a promise—”
Finally, I want to encourage everyone reading this message that for you to find meaning for your life it’s not in drugs and bars like I thought before, it’s not in hanging out with women or men as some do, it’s neither in quitting your marriage for another one and it is not in foreign donors but it is in Christ Jesus. This very moment Jesus is saying; “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and overburdened and I will cause you to rest,(I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls)  take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest ( relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.’(Matthew 11:28-29 Amp)
Are you a father, mother or a youth who is tired and want to give up in life? Hand that yoke to Jesus and He will give you rest. And if you are not yet born Again why not entrust your life to Christ who alone can give meaning to your life. If you are ready to do so, say this simple prayer of commitment: Say
“Dear Jesus. I come to you as a sinner. Forgive my sins.  Right now I entrust you with my life as my Lord and Savior. Make my family and my life secure. Amen”
If you said that prayer from your heart, you are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Find a bible teaching Church near you where you can fellowship in order to grow spiritually. Let us know about your commitment to Christ through our contacts.
